Nearly all of New Jersey's waters fail to meet the fishable, swimmable, and drinkable goals set forth in current laws and regulations. Most of the issues are a result of our everyday actions and the way we use land and water resources. That is why Sustainable Jersey and Clean Ocean Action have teamed up to inspire coastal towns to focus on watershed-wide water quality improvements.
Clean Ocean Action’s Blue Star program highlights the Sustainable Jersey actions aimed at water quality protection and supports community efforts to become a leader in environmental stewardship.
This webinar will review the components of the Blue Star program and discuss how you can leverage your existing Sustainable Jersey efforts and showcase your towns’ initiatives to promote healthy waters and implement environmentally sound policies and practices.
